NORTH DEVON MINI GRAND TOUR 2003
The North Devon Mini Grand Tour has been running for eight years. The event has been expanded from a parade of 50 to 250 minis. Each year this event brings mini owners and tourists from all over the country to North Devon for a two-day driving event.
This year, the North Devon Mini Grand Tour was awarded a grant towards the marketing costs. The event was held over the August bank holiday and it attracted over 300 minis, 40 motorbikes as well as attracting thousands of people who watched the event.

TORRIDGE TOURISM ASSOCIATION - ATLANTIC VILLAGE TIC
In January 2003, Torridge Tourism Association were awarded a Tourism, Marketing & Events grant from North West Devon LEADER+. The grant provided them the opportunity to erect new signage, purchase leaflet stands and to produce the "Where to Eat" guide.
The TIC at Atlantic Village is immediately visible from all directions and with the new stands and signage the whole facility has been enhanced. "Where to Eat" has been a great success and much appreciated by visitors and locals. They have proved to be very useful to the TTA in providing an all round service. At least 100 "Where to Eat" guides were given out each week and on average between 600-700 leaflets each day for most of the season.

HARTLAND QUAY HOTEL
Hartland Quay Hotel is a small isolated rural business. The dramatic and stunning beautiful scenery with waves crashing onto Hartland rocky outcrop, provides a perfect day for your ideal wedding. Chris & Jill Johns of Hartland Quay Hotel are now able to offer this excellent facility bringing a whole new meaning for "marriage on the rocks"! With the assistance of LEADER+, the new venture has been actively promoted, encouraging out of season visitors to the area.

CLOVELLY REGATTA - CLOVELLY PILOT GIG CLUB
The Clovelly Pilot Gig Club was formed on July 26th 2001 and is the first gig rowing club to be established on the North Devon Coast. On Sunday 17th August 2003, Clovelly Pilot Gig Club held it's first Regatta. The event attracted crews from Padstow, Weymouth, Port Isaac, Swanage, Bude, Salcombe and Rock as well as over 2000 visitors. The programme of events on the water was extended to the shore-line, with live music by Bideford Samba Band and "Frigging Rigging", as well as barbeque, stalls, sideshows and much more.
