The Local Learning Accounts helped
individuals and community groups with their training needs.
What did we support?

Mechanical Engineering
Tool Production
Care Sector
Marketing
Gas/Plumbing
Childcare/Youth Work
Customer Care
Community Groups could also apply for funding to improve their skills.
Modular and non-accreditation courses were also eligible for funding, such as:- Basic Skills and Human Resources.
How much grant was available?
Grants were up to 75% of the eligible costs.
Eligibility
Individuals and Community Groups had to:-
- Be based within the North West Devon LEADER+ area.
- Demonstrate the need for funding.
-Applicants must not be eligible for any other EU funding.
The Local Learning Accounts will run untill 31st December 2005. The amount of funding available is limited and as such applications will be considered on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Businesses can only obtain one grant from the North West Devon LEADER+ programme.
